Chinese Qianlong Urn Sold for more than £150K

A Chinese Qianlong urn, which was on top of the owner’s wardrobe for more than 20 years, was sold £154,000 at the auction. This beautiful 18th century urn was used by the owner to store scented dried petals on top of the wardrobe until he was moving home and decided to sell many of his stuff. Because the urn is damaged with the key part, it was estimated at most £2,000. However, it was realized at £154,000, 77 times of its pre-sale estimate price. —Antique News
