New World Record at Bonhams Print Sale

A wartime study of marching troops by Christopher Richard Wynne Nevinson took the top spot in Bonham Prints Sale on April 15. Returning to the Trenches, the terrific print was dated and signed by the artist in pencil in 1916. The artist, Christopher Richard Wynne Nevinson was one of the most famous war artist during World War I. His powerful series of Futurist prints capture the horrors and chaos of war, simplifying the world into neat, ordered pattern.
