“Picturing the Canadian Pacific Railway” is an exhibition that showcases important Canadian historic treasures and evocative new contemporary art. Focusing on the Canadian Pacific Railway’s mainline from Calgary to Craigellachie, the Whyte Museum will draw upon its own impressive collection and combine those with fine works from public and private lenders. The exhibition features artists from the historic Canadian Pacific Railway pass program through to contemporary stars Peter von Tiesenhausen, Ciprian Mureşan and Kristopher Weinmann.
