The auction, taking place at 10am on Friday, December 6, will feature American and European fine art and decorations, Asian works of art, and jewelry. Notable decorative art lots include a Napoleon III ormolu mounted mother-of-pearl and brass marquetry kingwood banded ebonized wood secretaire abattant, designed by Charles-Guillaume Diel circa 1870 (est: $15,000-$25,000); nine lots of Georg Jensen silver with estimates ranging from $1,000 to $8,000; a Tiffany & Co. Audubon Pattern sterling flat table service ($8,000-$12,000); a large selection of over 20 late 19th-early 20th century Meissen figural groups, including a large musicale group (est: $2,000-$4,000); and a whimsical mahogany table designed by Pedro Friedeberg (Mexican/American b. 1937), Open Hand Table (est: $8,000-$10,000).
